Postnatal Pilates

Postnatal Pilates classes are the perfect way to start to rebuild your strength after your baby. Pregnancy and childbirth can significantly change how your body works and feels and these classes will help you to restore normal function and movement. The body has an incredible capacity to heal, recover and rebuild with the right guidance and support. Feel confident again and meet other mums as you take the important steps for your recovery. There is time after each class to stay for a cuppa and a chat.

I am highly experienced in supporting women through their postnatal recovery and I am trained in both pelvic floor restoration as well as assessing and treating any abdominal separation or diastasis recti. Personally, I had two babies in 20 months and had to work through my own recovery to get back to running and lifting weights without leaking or feeling strain.

The class is all about you as a mum and so although babies are very welcome, they do not participate in the exercises so you are welcome to come without one!

These classes are suitable from 6 weeks postnatally and pre-crawling babies are welcome. You are also welcome to attend if you have older children but are looking to take the first step in recovery.

 

You can attend the course as a whole or book drop in sessions to suit you. If you book the course, you will get access to the online support and classes.

All equipment is provided but you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.

There is free parking available on Montalt Road just a few minutes walk away (see pic) Parking on Chingford Lane is restricted to residents only during the day.
